Athule is an incredible young man that is part of our Hillsong Africa's Innovation Hub. Our iHub team adjusted their program to best serve Athule’s hearing ability.

4 percent of the South African population is deaf with around 17 babies born every day with hearing loss. Access to education is one of their biggest obstacles, with only 20% of deaf South Africans receiving a Grade 12 qualification.

We can’t do everything, but we are doing something to help change the narrative for the amazing young people in Africa.
