It is known that Sayyid Khandan neighborhood was settled by this Sayyid, and his fame in the region was such that everyone in the region knows the region by the name of Sayyid Khandan, which means the good-looking Sayyid. Every day, a large number of travelers who traveled on this route were the guests of Syed Jafar Shah Sahib and benefited from his help.

The beginning of urban development in Seyed Khandan
In the 30s, with the expansion of the city of Tehran, Seyed Khandan, which was located in the middle of the road between Tehran and Shemiranat, became the center of attention, in such a way that the lands of this area were divided little by little and given to applicants. With the increasing population of Tehran and the growing trend of immigration to this city, Seyed Khandan did not benefit from this growth and development and from the fifties to the sixties, the population began to increase uncontrollably, which continues to this day. .
