The XB-70 was a prototype supersonic bomber that could fly at speeds up to Mach 3, this impressive speed made it impossible for any enemy fighter to catch up to it, making it one of the most incredible and advanced aircraft ever built in the history of aviation.
In addition to its speed, the XB-70 had another notable feature, a variable-geometry wing that could move up and down to adapt to different flight conditions, it was so large that it had six enormous jet engines, giving it an impressive amount of power, unfortunately, the XB-70 program was canceled in 1964, however, it left a legacy in aviation and remains the largest aircraft to have ever reached Mach 3.
