East Side Re-Rides, in January of 2020, was plotting a cute little video collab with Boundaries Leather, inviting in a huge cast of characters, which was going to be showing at our local movie theatre before films. Well, you know what happened in the spring of 2020. :-(
Here's 15 seconds of socially-distant replacement. It's much better with the sound on.
Nerd notes from Elaine:This video was cast with only those very few folks in my personal bubble, plus stock from the store (March 2020), and shot by me on a Google Pixel 3XL Android phone.

Thank you to my bubble of dear ones -- my adored spouse VK, who patiently zipped and laced and zipped and zipped until I was satisfied I had the right shot, and to Ariss of Boundaries Leather for stomping and zipping and clacking, and to Blu for even more zipping. Sebnem Ozpeta was good enough to edit it all together, as I have only a rudimentary grasp of film editing. Thanks, Sebnem!
The sounds were Foley'd in afterwards, as there is not a quiet inch of East Vancouver outdoors, even during a shutdown. I used a Blue Yeti microphone in a storage room early in the morning to be able to record clean sounds when I didn't have access to a studio or a fun-fur-lined elevator shaft.
In order of appearance, here's the stock:
1) Alexander of Scotland brown horsehide leather jacket. (sold) Foley sound was a near-identical Horween leather Aero jacket, also with a brass Talon zip, which was closer to hand, and happened to be visiting Boundaries Leather for repair.
2) Wesco Boss Harness boots belonging to Ariss. Played in Foley by the exact same boots.
3) A classic biker jacket sleeve zip. We always have lots of these in all sizes and conditions.
4) A First Mfg pair of roper gauntlets. Brand new in multiple sizes and 3 colourways. The foley of these sounded terrible, so they had a voiceover done by a vintage leopard print leather drawstring bag.
5) Horsehide captoe Viberg service boots (mine). Turns out blind laces don't make the right lace 'em up noise, so I recorded a different Viberg service boot with brass eyelets. Zooop!
6) Vintage deadstock Bristol red/white leather jacket item #23026 available in-store as of late spring 2020)
7) Scorpion helmet (we have a few of these left in stock, brand new of course) Foley was a vintage Shoei helmet generally worn by our mannequin, which was closer to hand.
The motorcycle sound is heavily edited from the original by user Casemundy from freesound.org. The woodsy image was "Forest_road_on_the_way_to_Disentis_in_Switzerland" from Wikimedia Commons. Looks like the road going to Tofino, doesn't it? Wish I was there right now.
