Every time I fly with this antenna I am more and more impressed it is definitely worth it for the Mavic air. Especially if you are in an urban area like I am it helps tremendously with the video signal (image transmission). This is the raptor sr u can also get the bigger raptor xr both of these support the mavic air and will work with our 2.4 and 5.8 ghz bands.. so in conclusion not only does this help with distance but also with the image transmission feed.... in my eyes this is so worth the 120$
