Dr Timothy Beale’s talk on the relevant radiological anatomy when performing endoscopic sinus surgery.
Dr Beale has been a Consultant Radiologist (Head and neck) since 1998 at University College London (UCLH) NHS trust and National hospital Queen Sq.
Dr Beale is Vice President (president elect) European Society of Head and Neck Radiology 2020-2023, Chairman Head and Neck Scientific subcommittee ECR 2020, President British Society of Head and Neck Imaging 2010-2012, Vice president British Society of Head and Neck Imaging 2008-2010, Secretary British Society of Head and Neck Imaging 2004-2008, European subcommittee Head and Neck Radiology (ECR) 2008-2011 and is Congress President ESHNR BSHNI BSDMFR 27-29 Sept 2018 London UK. He is also Special interest group Lead RCR for Head and Neck 2010-2012. He is RCR lead head and neck for ‘make better use of radiology’ (MBUR) 7th Edition. Dr Beale is also, Fellow of European Society of Head and Neck Radiologists and committee member 2013-present.
He has authored chapters on head and neck imaging in Grainger and Allison (2014 edition and current 7th edition), Head and neck ultrasonography (Plural publishing Orlof et al) 1st and 2nd edition and many more.
Dr Beale is Radiology advisor at European position paper on sinonasal anatomy 2014 and endoscopic management of tumours of the nose, paranasal sinuses and skull base 2010.
He has Published 50 peer- reviewed papers in diverse areas (head and neck imaging).
