Getting in the Kern River is frowned upon by many in the community as it’s taken the lives of hundreds.

However, many are applauding YouTuber Jared Leisek, who is known for Adventures with Purpose, a voluntary search and recovery dive team for diving in the Kern River to find the missing Christina Murphy.
