What You’ll Need:
◾1 baking camembert
◾1 round french bread boule, or any loaf of a similar size
◾1 head of garlic
◾1 tbsp olive oil
◾salt flakes, a pinch
◾1 tbsp rosemary, finely diced, fresh or dried
◾4 tbsp olive oil
How You Make It:
1.Cut your head of garlic through the very top to just expose the tops of each clove. Add 1 tbsp olive oil and salt then wrap in foil and bake at 375ºF for 30 minutes.
2.Meanwhile, prepare your bread. Cut a circle in the top of the bread, leaving 1/2 an inch or so around the edge- this will form the edge of your moat. Cut another circle slightly smaller than this one in the top of the bread. Tear out the crust and pinch out the bread from inside to fully form your cheese-catching ‘moat’.
3.Bring the garlic out of the oven and pinch the cloves out of the skins. Mix with 3 tbsp olive oil and your chopped rosemary. Brush this all over your bread, including inside the trough.
4.Score one side of your camembert with a sharp knife, ensuring to cut into the flesh a little.
5.Pop the cheese on top of the bread, scored side facing down.
6.Place the cheese topped bread in the oven and bake for 15 minutes at 400ºF.
7.Marvel at your creation, then destroy (with or without friends)!
