A wider transformation is on the way. While bp today is mostly in oil and gas, we are also investing more into low-carbon solutions. We will keep our production of oil and gas going where needed, while also investing more into helping the transition. We do both of these things by building American solar capacity, increasing production of renewable diesel, expanding oil and gas production and reducing emissions at the source. These are just some of the ways we are investing in America, and putting our plans into action.

Our purpose is reimagining energy for people and our planet. We want to help the world reach net zero and improve people’s lives. We will aim to dramatically reduce carbon in our operations and in our production, and grow new low carbon businesses, products and services.

We will advocate for fundamental and rapid progress towards Paris and strive to be a leader in transparency. We know we don’t have all the answers and will listen and work with others.
