We were invited to deliver a session at the Annual CIPD Organisation Development and Design Conference. Our session was about how to navigate and enhance Decision-Making and how to use OD Strategies in a Dynamic and Complex Landscape. In this video we summarise what we discussed and explore the vital role of OD practitioners in facilitating collaborative decision-making and fostering adaptability among stakeholders.
We explored the challenges and opportunities faced by OD professionals in guiding stakeholders through the labyrinth of decision-making and gain a deeper understanding of how OD tools and methodologies can be used to empower stakeholders to make informed decisions amidst the complexities of today's rapidly evolving organisational landscapes. Over 70% of senior leaders admit that bad strategic decisions happen just as often as good ones, if not more, in their organisations. OD practitioners have a critical role to play supporting stakeholders and clients elevate their decision-making game.

Garin is an award-winning Organisation Development and Design consultant with over 18 years’ experience. He has supported leading organisations in London, Shanghai and Sydney in achieving their strategic objectives. He has experience working with companies of all different sizes and sectors including Legal & General, BNP Paribas and Citigroup. Garin is Chair of the #CIPD London Organisation Development, Design, Culture & Transformation Group and Co-Chair of CIPD Central London. In these roles he delivers regular events that support the development of the OD&D and HR profession. Garin is a regular speaker and writer on Organization Development and his first book on Leadership will be published later this year.
Garin is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and his qualifications include an MSc in Systemic Leadership and Organisational Development (with distinction) and a BA (Hons) in Business from Northumbria University.
