#Panakam (Raama Rasam ) & #Vadapappu
Ingredients for Paanakam :
Jaggery / Bellam - 100 gms /1 Cup
Water / Manchi neeru - 400ml / 5 cups (Here use the jaggery measured cup )
Crushed Pepper Corn/Miriyalu - 1/4th tsp
Crushed Cardamom/Elaichi - 1/4th tsp
Dry Ginger /Sonti powder - 1/4th tsp (Optional )
Fennel seeds /Saunf powder - 1/4th tsp (optional )
procedure :
-Soak jaggery in water and let it melt.
-Adjust water quantity as per the sweetness of Jaggery used.
-Filter the jaggery melted water to discard any dust particles from jaggery
-Mix all the ingredients (Crushed powders) with this water.
- Cooling Drink of this Summer Season , Panakam is ready to serve.
Ingredients for Vadapappu :
MoongDal / Pesarapappu - 1tbsp
procedure :
- Wash & soak Moong Dal in water for 30 to. 40 mins.
- Strain off the water and Vadapappu is Ready to Serve
