June 9 ,2024 the international Saskia Laroo Band gave a rousing performance at Jazz aan de Sjtasie. It marked the highlight of Saskia Laroo's Artist In Residence appearance that full weekend, presenting her own songs with her own musicians. With this large band, they have toured to Brazil, Zimbabwe, China, the USA, Canada, Senegal, Singapore, South Africa, Europe, and more. The band's lineup came from all over the country. The audience that danced and grooved gave heartwarming reactions afterward.

Today, the ensemble boasts an international array of talent, blending soulful music, rhythmic beats, rap, and emotive solos to create a unique auditory experience.
