People living in the Hulu Kinta district who are unsure if their homes are placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) can check their status online.
Perak police chief Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said the website named "PerakGIS" was introduced by the Perak Survey and Mapping Department and it would allow people to check on their status.
Mior Faridalthrash told reporters this after visiting a roadblock along Jalan Raja Dr Nazrin Shah here, today. Present was Ipoh district police Assistant Commissioner A. Asmadi Abdul Aziz.
On Thursday, Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the 14-day EMCO would be imposed in several sub-districts in Terengganu and Perak from May 22 to June 4.
