3 weeks after the Filipina Traveller left for the Philippines, it is finally my turn. I am finally travelling to Tagum Philippines. For those that don't know, Tagum City Philippines is in the south of the country, on the large island of Mindanao. It takes a fair amount of travelling to get to Tagum. 3 different planes, and a car ride at the end of all the flying. Philippine Airlines offers daily service from different North American cities to the Philippines, and once here, has many daily flights all over the country. But is it worth travelling to Tagum? You can be the judge. But in my opinion, it is a beautiful city, with very friendly people. And if you don't like cold weather, then Tagum City is definitely for you. In fact, if you don't like the cold, you will be happy to know that Tagum City gets no snow at any time during the year!

The area is a beautiful tropical paradise. Palm trees greet you along the side of the highway when you enter the city. And everywhere you look, there are coconut trees, banana trees, and many other tropical plants. The people here are always welcoming, and will often say hello to you, or say "Good morning/afternoon/evening when you walk past.

I hope that you enjoy this video of me travelling to Tagum Philippines. It was a long journey: around 24 hours from start to finish. But once here, that travel time is very worth it, to get to a tropical paradise.
