Japanese Lion Dance "Shishimai" was demonstrated by Mr. Oomaye for the participants of Japanese Night 2012.
Japanese Night a Japanese cultural feast conducted by Consulate-General of Japan at Chennai on 30-March-2012 for the Japanese speaking community of Chennai.
The program held at the Consul-General's residence at Chennai.
The event started at 16.00 hrs with Exhibition of Origami/Japanese Dolls/Ikebana followed by Japanese Food demonstration, Japanese Speech Contest, Dance and Karaoke contest.
Students of Hayakawa Japanese Language School are invited for the event by Japanese consulate. Our students participated in Japanese Speech Contest and Karaoke Contest.
The program ends at 20.00 hrs with Japanese Music performance by a Japanese band.
