The Higher Education Ministry said it had agreed to expand the provision of advance funds of the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) loans to students of private institutions of higher learning, especially from the B40 group.
Its minister Datuk Dr Noraini Ahmad said the advance payment would be made based on PTPTN eligibility requirements starting next year.
