Today we're looking at the 2022 KCIII QEII Memorial Gold Proof £5 Coin.

These 2022 Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Gold Proof £5 Coins have been issued by the Royal Mint to honour the late queen, and her incredible 70-year reign.

The reverse features two portraits of Queen Elizabeth II, depicting her throughout her reign. This fitting tribute was designed by artist, John Bergdahl.

The 2022-dated coins are the first UK coins to feature King Charles III on the obverse - the first time a new monarch has appeared on the obverse of a UK coin in 70 years
