Well, here's an amazing thing that happened to me this week! I received an anonymous package in the post. It was so well wrapped that it took ages to get open - and I was gobsmacked to find a new Tamiya RC kit with many fantastic hop-ups included! It was the Tamiya Lunchbox, with metal bearings, metal body posts, a 15T motor and 60 Amp ESC, plus more goodies!

I want to say a massive "thank you" to whoever sent this package. It just goes to show what a fantastic hobby we have, full of friendly and generous people. This Lunchbox will be carefully built and painted, but I can't promise how carefully it will be run!

The gifted Tamiya RC Lunchbox was contained in "Black Edition" box. However, I think it is a mixture of brand new parts from the Black Edition and the standard, yellow Lunchbox kits. Here is the Tamiya description of the 1/12 scale RC Lunchbox:
