Our piercer Kewi considered this client very lucky, as the surface bar was able to be gently removed with a taper, rather than needing to be cut out from the skin. This is an ideal surface piercing removal situation, however, not all clients are as lucky as this one. 😕

If you need your surface piercing removed, speak to your piercer! If you go to the doctor to have it removed, you may end up having more damage caused to your skin than is necessary, as they aren't familiar with the shape of the jewelry and how it sits inside of your skin. If you aren't able to return to the person who pierced you, we highly recommend going to see another local piercer for assistance.
