Highlighting the plight of Rohingya refugees who have fled violence in Myanmar, senior UN official Pramila Patten called for actions to protect them from “a heightened risk” of trafficking. The remarks followed Ms. Patten’s recent visit to Bangladesh, where over 600,000 Rohingya have sought refuge since late August.
