REA Group Senior Economist Eleanor Creagh says Australia has seen a “reshuffling in the ranks” of its most expensive cities.
Brisbane has become the second most expensive city for housing.
“Brisbane home prices are now on par with Canberra as well,” Ms Creagh told Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood.
“(It’s) all driven by the divergent trends that we are seeing in home price growth across the country.”
