I wanted to make a Memphis style beat on iPad, BeatMaker 3, and a Midi Keyboard. And Yes, you can make Dope Trap Beats on an IOS setup! I used my world famous drum kits (Bolo 2020 kit & Bolo X Factor kit) so pick those up ASAP! I use my IOS setup a lot especially will on the road mostly travel and vacations and I must say my IOS setup has definitely helped me to scale down on what I need to use for production. Its not the best sounding, but it is very efficient. With a little mixing and correct sound selection, beats on an IOS setup can compete with just about any DAW.
