News coming in as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin announces to build of a memorial for former CM and DMK supremo M.Karunanidhi inside the Anna Memorial. The project will cost around 39 crore rupees. Tamil Nadu CM made this announcement during the Assembly. M Karunanidhi's statue will be of 2.2 acres which will be constructed in Marina where he was laid after his death. This decision was welcomed by the Opposition in the assembly wholeheartedly. There is no particular timeline given by the Tamil Nadu government on this project. However, earlier, The AIADMK build Jayalalita's memorial in Anna memorial when they were in power, following to this now DMK is building memorial for M karunanidi inside the same Anna Memorial.
