The MetSoc news for April 2019
MetSoc board of Directors approved funding for projects in 2019.
Earth's Riches- a project piloted by CIM and the Science North Museum. This travelling exhibit will present the different facets of mining to the next generation. This exhibit will travel accross Canada focusing on youth.
Comic Book Project: by the Historical metallurgy committee. Historically our publications have appealed to an older audience. The objective is to create a comic book featuring a hero/heroine in the metallurgy field that would appeal to a younger audience.
MetSoc CIM video Library: the current MetSoc library features technical presentation for our events. We are looking to host CIM platform that will include all technical content from CIM and all its branches and Societies to offer unparallel access to our members.
COM 2019 Hosting Copper 2019 will open registration April 15.
CMSC 2019 June 10-13 will also open its registration week of April 15
CIM Convention 2019 will open on April 28 and MetSoc will be onsite in Montreal at the Expo and in the member lounge to offer information and meet our members! Join us in Montreal on April 28.
