The move by Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi to announce imminent reforms in the education sector continues to draw varied reactions. Among the radical measures fronted by Matiangi includes a requirement that all Secondary School heads must hold a master’s degree and that Primary and Secondary schools sharing the same parcel of land be administered by a common school board.
