This is an English language performance of the very end of The Marriage of Figaro - all prior hijinks culminate in a climactic final confrontation followed by one of the finest moments of emotional catharsis ever written for stage. In the previous scene [ Ссылка ] Figaro watched in horror as his bride met up with Count Almaviva for a late night tryst, unaware that he was actually seeing the Countess herself in disguise as part of a scheme to expose the Count's cheating. Meanwhile, the Countess used those same sticky fingers that bamboozled Doctor Bartolo in Barber to pilfer the Count's glasses while he had them pocketed for reasons of vanity, then used Figaro's presence as an excuse to run off. Figaro, having seen the Count and "Susanna" (really the Countess) depart the scene, believes himself to be alone. But the real Susanna is closer than he thinks and she's not happy that Figaro was so quick to believe she'd be unfaithful.

This is part of my silly project [ Ссылка ] to use my freakish five octave range and an assortment of common household objects to perform The Marriage of Figaro by myself.
As a sendoff to these characters I've spent so much time with over the last several months, I've included a short medley of Barber songs at the end of the video.
