What's a KiKi?

Kiki is a term that grew out of Black LGBTQ American social culture and is loosely defined as a gathering of friends for the purpose of gossiping and chit-chat, and later made more famous in the song "Let's Have a Kiki" by the Scissor Sisters.

PRPG.mx introduces the Kiki to keep us connected within the context of art and our studio practice without deadlines, presentations, and critiques. Open to Artists in Residency and the general public. We use these events to tour galleries, and museums, meet curators, visit art studios of local artists, and more.
