The popular neo-western drama, created by Taylor Sheridan, has captivated audiences for years with its gripping storyline and unforgettable characters. After airing the first eight episodes of Season 5 earlier in 2023, the final six episodes are set to premiere this November, but without the legendary actor who brought the Dutton patriarch to life. Though many fans are upset about Costner's departure, it seems that his absence was part of Yellowstone's original plan all along. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kelly Reilly, who plays Beth Dutton, revealed that Costner's character was always meant to fade out of the storyline in the later parts of the series.
