I have recently gotten more into vintage stoves, and am gearing up to do some full fledge restorations on some vintage stoves, including multiple Coleman stoves. It quickly became obvious that tank check valves are often a problem, and getting them out safely for cleaning can also be a real problem. Well, here is how you do it what I would consider the “right way.” This tool will work for many check valves, not only on Coleman Stoves.
