OPEC, 2021년 원유수요 전망 6.5% 상향..."하반기에 회복 집중"
OPEC has revised up its global oil demand forecast for 2021.
In a monthly report on Thursday, the organization said demand will rise by 5-point-8-9 million barrels a day,… equal to 6-point-5 percent.
This is an increase of around 100-thousand barrels per day compared to February's estimate.
OPEC forecasts total oil demand for this year to reach 96-point-3 million barrels a day,… with most consumption seen in the second half of the year.
However, it also says the growth will not be enough to compensate for last year's shortfall, as some challenges caused by the pandemic will most likely remain throughout 2021.
