Parking light Mercedes. Have you got a Mercedes warning light for Mercedes parking light bulb replacement? If so, this EASY PEASY DIY guide is for you! I cover everything, from where to find the Mercedes hood release handle / Mercedes bonnet release handle, through to how to call up the Mercedes warning light messages on the instrument panel (To show how to identify which bulb is out), the correct Mercedes parking light bulb type to use, how to remove the horn to get better access and finally how remove the light cluster bulb cover and change the Mercedes side light bulb.

In this video, when I called up the Mercedes Benz warning light messages in the instrument cluster, it said: Check front right parking lamp, so it goes without saying, I will be replacing a Mercedes front right parking lamp. Of course, if the message had been check front left parking lamp, the same procedure would apply if you needed to change a Mercedes front left parking lamp. Except, access is a little bit easier on the left because the electric horn isn’t in the way.

The car in this video is a Mercedes CLK C209 320cdi but the procedure should be similar or even exact for the Mercedes C class W203 parking light bulb and possibly the Mercedes E class W211.

The following Mercedes cars should be covered:

Mercedes C class W203 - C180 C200 C220 C270 C230 C240 C280 C320 C350
Mercedes CLK C209 - CLK 200, CLK 240, CLK 280, CLK 320, CLK 350, CLK 500, CLK 550
Mercedes E class W211 - E200 E220 E230 E240 E270 E280 E300 E320 E350 E400 E420

Mercedes Parking Light Bulb (Please double check this is the right one for your car) is a 12v 5w known as the T10 or 501 W5W bulb. Standard fit will be Halogen.

IMPORTANT: If you are tempted to fit LED bulbs, they must be the same fitment type (501) but be CANBUS to prevent errors with the warning light / monitoring system etc.
