Jhor waterfall (झरना) is a former Village Development Committee that is now part of Tokha Municipality in Kathmandu District in Bagmati Province of Nepal. It is located from Ring road (Samakhusi) of the capital on the northern side. Jhor is also the border village between Kathmandu & Nuwakot district. Shivapuri National Park holds this village in the Lap.

Nearby Kathmandu and the natural spring Water source from Shivapuri National Park High altitude jungle is the main source of this waterfall.

Jhor Waterfall is also a temple of Lord Shiva. You can take more advantage of this place by pay homage to the god and playing with the spring water in the pollution-free jungle. Temple is inside the Baundeshwor Cave. You also can enjoy the magnificent view of Kathmandu Valley from this waterfall. Numbers of people visit to enjoy themselves with family and friends. This spot is also popular for a group or couple picnic and romantic place & environment for lovebird’s couple.
You can hike or ride a bicycle or drive near the waterfall, on the holiday to spend your splendid quality time. However, this place remains mostly closed. In the year 2019 during June, July it was open for the Public after a long year which was closed after the Devastation Earthquake in Nepal.
