Ingredients:
Drumstick 5 - 6 nos (lengthy)
Garlic cloves as needed
To grind:
Mustard seeds 1 tbsp
Fenugreek 1 tbsp
Roast until golden brown and ground to powder
To temper:
Groundnut oil 1/2 cup
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Chana dal 1 tsp
Urad dal 1 tsp
Crushed coriander 1 tsp
Red chillies 3 - 4 nos
You can increase the quantity of oil
To make pickle:
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Salt 1/3 cup
Red chilli powder 1 cup
Ground powder
Tamarind 1 big amla sized
Note:
1. Adjust the salt and spice according to the sourness of the tamarind
2. You can increase the amount oil
3. Once the pickle is prepared store it in an airtight container and keep untouched for 3 days.
4. Pickle will hold good for 3 - 4 months inside the refrigerator
5. You can skip garlic
6. use clean spoon to serve picle
7. Always try to use sterilised glass/ceramic jar to store pickle
