In this video I will show you how to crochet the moon granny square. This video is intended for the advanced beginner crocheter. We will be using various stitches including single crochet, double crochet, extended double crochet and triple crochet. We will also be adding some surface slip stitching to our moons to add some texture and detail. All of these stitches and techniques are explained in the video.

Materials:
Yarn - I am using a weight 4 yarn (worsted weight) - you can use any yarn

Crochet hook - 4.5mm (use the hook recommended for the yarn you are using)
Scissors (or something to cut the yarn ends)
Tapestry needle (also called a darning needle)
