Today I'm scanning medium format negatives on my Epson Perfection V550 Photo flatbed scanner. The scanner comes with these handy tools to enable it to scan the negatives. Aside from a variety of sized negatives, it also scans slides and of course, photographs.
Be sure to clean the glass of the scanner bed and the negatives frequently during the scanning process to ensure the cleanest scan, though if the negative is scratched or damaged, you'll need to do some photo restoration to remove the scratches, etc.
