Details: RB20 had damaged crank due to flywheel bolts being reuseed & stretched out of spec. We suggested an RB20 Engine Rebuild, but Customer wanted an RB25. Process: Stripped the RB25 down to injectors, coils and intake as well as stock turbo. Ordered Custom harness from Wiring Solutions & installed the Engine. We swapped the ECU to an RB25 ECU (The RB20 can work, but only if it is an RB25 S1). Since this was an RB25 S2 Engine, we needed a front clip of an R33 to take our the harnass from dash, because the mass airflow sensor is on the driver side (opposite of standard U.S.A. driver side), while the RB20 & S1 is on the passenger side of this car. Wiring Solutions Makes this easy. We got an ECU Patch Harnass for tuning the ECU & also get the 5 Point Grounding Harnass. After this is all installed, fire it up & adjust the throttle position sensor - it needs to start engaging when the throttle is open about .032" of travel - use your DVOM for that & a feeler dial indicator. We converted the battery to a new modern battery with more cranking amps for faster start ups and also the ability to run deep cycle batteries. We also custom fabricated a new hood prop (as old one was missing). We installed a new bigger R32 Mishimoto Nissan Skyline Aluminum Radiator as well. The clutch we used was a completion White Bunny Clutch for a 240sx but got a Skyline Flywheel & combined the two to put more pressure in the Flywheel for better grip - without sacrificing the smooth engagement of the clutch pedal. This is considered a performance upgrade. We used a Chevy 350 ARP Dragracing Flywheel w/ bolts torqued to 125 Foot Pounds with ARP Moly Lube.
