It's been several months since a Metro bus crashed into an indoor skate park where the non-profit Skate Like a Girl was hosting a free skating session.
Since January, Finn Bradberry, the Skate Like A Girl’s Seattle director, told KOMO News they've been struggling to find a permanent home for their program.
At the time of the crash, a Metro spokesperson told KOMO News the Route 14 bus was traveling east on South Jackson Street when "a westbound vehicle collided with the bus as it turned in front of the bus, forcing the operator to swerve the bus."
King County Metro officials told KOMO News they looked at county-owned facilities as potential options but none were available or suitable for Skate Like a Girl.
