The U.S. Army Concert Band performs “The Girl in 14G.” Music is by Jeanine Tesori, with lyrics by Dick Scanlan, arranged by SFC Michael Brown, and sung by vocal soloist, SFC Leigh Ann Hinton.


The song is based on the experience of singer/ actress Kristen Chenoweth living in an apartment in New York and dealing with noisy neighbors above and below her.

Chenoweth is a Tony and Emmy Award-winning performer for her work on stage and screen. She got her start singing in churches as a child before moving to New York. Her credits include Wicked on Broadway, West Wing, and Pushing Daisies.
