The viral video being shared by BJP supporters is the clipped version which omitted the context of the statement made by Jitu Patwari. He was not talking about Congress’ election strategy but that of the BJP. While appealing for votes, he termed the BJP “anti-poor” and said that the party has not done anything for the marginalised community, yet manage to win the election by bribing them with money and alcohol. During elections, he alleged, that women accept Rs 200-500 as bribes and keep them in their “blouses” while the men take alcohol.
