This 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera coupe was the subject of a Safari-style build carried out by Porsche Beaverton in Oregon. Work was completed as part of the 2023 Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge, and it included rebuilding the 3.2-liter flat-six and Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle, a repaint in black, reupholstering the interior in black leather and houndstooth cloth, a suspension lift via an Elephant Racing kit, and installing Elephant Racing adjustable spring plates, RSR sway bars, BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires, a skid plate, a Dansk sport muffler, a custom-fabricated front bumper, rally lighting, a wood-slat roof basket, and a whale-tail rear spoiler. The car also features Porsche Classic infotainment, a MOMO steering wheel, air conditioning, and a red-dial tachometer. This Safari-style 911 shows 124k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment in Oregon with photographs and records from the build as well as a clean California title.
