This is a beautiful traditional Ukrainian folk song that I had a lot of fun arranging with my project DoVira. “Jihav Kozak Mistom” explores the timeless theme of youthful love, and from time to time, having to hide it from our family. In this song we never find out - Did mother beat her for talking to that cossack boy last night?
