Oil and filter change on my 2022 Yamaha YZF-R3. These simple services should be done at home, it won't void your warranty, it costs WAY less, you won't need special tools, just a 12mm Spanner or Socket.
I take you through step by step how to get this done, it really is simple, anyone can do it at home and save a hundred dollars or more.
Just make sure you use the recommended oil and filter.
1. Run bike for a few minutes
2. Remove sump lug
3. Remove Oil Filter
4. Stand bike up straight to drain oil
5. Prime Oil filter
6. Fit new oil filter
7. Replace sump plug
8. Fill bike with new oil
9. Stand bike up straight to check oil level
10. Start bike and check for leaks
11. Reset Oil trip meter
