INGREDIENTS
Boneless Whiting Filets
1 Cup of Hooters Breading Mix
1/2 Cup of Corn Meal (yellow or white)
1 1/2 Cup of Flour
2 Eggs (beaten)
Vegetable Oil for frying
1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
2 Teaspoons of Old Bay Seasoning
1 Teaspoon Sea Salt
2 Teaspoons of Black Pepper
DIRECTIONS
Preheat Oil for frying to about 360F degrees
Get 3 containers, casserole, or pie plates, or whatever you can dip the fish in, put Flour, onion powder, garlic powder, old bay seasoning, salt, and pepper in one container and mix well. In second container, beat the 2 eggs, in third container add the Hooters Breading Mix and the corn meal and blend well to combine.
Dip the fish first in flour mixture, then in the beaten egg, and last in the breading mixture, making sure the fish is well coated. When oil is hot, fry fish until golden brown, drain on a rack with paper towels under the rack, using a sheet pan to put the paper towels and rack on. Enjoy!
