Hey, guys! Great news for Jenny Cooper fans as CBC renews Coroner for Season 4. The renewal came on June 7, exactly two months since the third season finished airing. Coroner is becoming increasingly popular not only in its native Canada, but also in the UK where it is available on Sky, and in the US, where it airs on The CW channel. So, it’s totally justified that CBC made such a quick renewal decision. The cherry on top of the renewal is the Season 4 episode count, which was extended from 10 to 12. While Canadian and British fans are looking forward to Season 4, which is scheduled to be released in Winter 2022, American viewers will be able to enjoy Season 3 when it premiers on The CW on August 19. In case you didn’t know, Coroner is based on the series of eight novels by the British writer and screenwriter M. R. Hall, the first of which, titled The Coroner, was published in 2009. Beautiful and talented 37-year old Canadian actress Serinda Swan will return as the lead, Jenny Cooper, who will continue investigating mysterious deaths.
