Rice:
3 tblsp oil
3 medium cloves garlic
1 cup of brown lentils
2 cups of Egyptian rice
1/2 tblsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
3-4 cups of hot water
Salt
Sauce 1:
2 tblsp oil
2 medium cloves garlic
2 tsp red chilli paste (optional)
1 tblsp tomato purée
1 cup tomato sauce (passata)
1/4 cup vinegar
Cumin, coriander & curry powder
1 tblsp sugar
Salt according to ur taste
Bit of water if required
Sauce 2:
1/2 tsp garlic paste or powder
Couple tblsp of sauce from the first sauce
Vinegar
Pinch of salt
Others:
Canned chickpeas
Fried onion
Macaroni (cook it as u would normally do)
