Juliane covers the big hit from the Australian band Sherbet, in the German language. Written by two of Sherbet’s members, Garth Porter and Tony Mitchell, “Howzat” was a #1 record in Australia and also reached #4 in the UK and #36 in Germany, where Juliane’s German language version didn’t chart.

Hailing from Essen in Germany, Juliane released her first recording in 1972, the #1 hit, “Am Tag Als Conny Kramer Starb”, a German language version of “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down”. Her career has lasted over 30 years, during which time she has had 23 German hit singles and 19 hit albums.
