Ust. Khan Muhammad Shafi Muhammad are the most under rated classical singers duo.Hailing from Peshawer where they settled after migration from Rajisthan,India as other members of their clan like Beera Ashiq Ali Khan,Hashmat Ali Khan & others had also settled there.
As they failed to find enough opportunity and audience in place like Peshawer,they shifted to another remote city Bhakhar,Mianwali where they were employed by Late Aziz A Shaikh,a music patron and mill owner.Being away from Lahore they found few opportunities to perform before enlightened audience and musicians,therefor they are little known in music circuit.
The only published work that survives,was recorded and released in Kabul,Afghanistan.
