Full service of Holy Communion for December 12th, 2021 (the Third Sunday of Advent - Gaudete Sunday). The Rev. Joan Conley celebrated the Eucharist and read the Gospel. The Rev. Jim Warnke preached. Yanna Huls read the other lessons and led prayers.
Owen Sheridan was the cantor, giving us renditions of "Christ is Made the Sure Foundation" (Regent Square), "My Soul in Stillness Waits" (Marty Haugen), "A Time Will Come for Singing" (Dan Schutte) and "Rejoice, the Lord is King" (Gopsal). He was accompanied by guest musician Rob Keiser, who started us out with "Prelude on a Chorale by Thomas Tallis" (W.T. Best) and closed the service with #8 of Elgar's Vesper Voluntaries, Op. 14.
