The Director Treasuries and Accounts department has requested for permission to fill (68) more Data Entry Operators (DEOs) on an outsourcing basis.
In the year 2005, the Government of AP has permitted the Director of Treasuries and Accounts department to fill-up (220) DEOs on outsourcing basis before the bifurcation of the AP State.
At present, there are 196 Sub-Treasury offices and 14 District Treasuries including Head Treasury office are functioning in the State. For each sub-treasury and district treasury offices required each DEO, that means 196 Data entry Operators are required. There is already 128 DEOs are allotted to Treasury offices after bifurcation of AP State.
DEO Salary is Rs. 15000 per month as per AP Outsourcing Enhanced Salary.
What is the Data Entry Operator (DEO) work in the treasury offices in AP State?
DEO qualification is Degree plus any computer knowledge. DEO should work with department software application provided by the AP Government for the smooth functioning of the work day today.
In the year 2015 E-payments Procedure is taken up in all the District Treasuries and Sub Treasuries in the State instead of manual procedures. All this is done without providing any additional staff or filling up vacancies, so this causeth heavy workload in the Treasuries.
Hence, the Director of Treasuries and Accounts, A.P., Ibrahimpatnam has requested for sanction of (82) more Data Entry Operators during 2016-17.
The Government of AP has permitted the Director of Treasuries and Accounts to engage (68) more DEOs on an outsourcing basis in Treasuries and District treasuries duly obeying the Outsourcing guidelines.
