There are all kinds of stats flying around about the industry & all sorts of people who are eager to share either doom and gloom or sunshine and rainbows. My goal with this video today is to cut through that to help you understand what's actually happening out there
To put it plainly - the industry is down vs last year in terms of sales. Shipments are up however. Things are balancing "back to normal" after several extremely weird and wild years.
The industry has always been subject to phases of feast and famine essentially. RV Factories and suppliers are currently in a "shoring up the edges" phase. Companies are reducing operating costs by closing some down extra facilities that exist to handle production during those "good times."
So the RV industry is not really going anywhere. But certainly nobody is setting records at this time. This industry has always always been VERY slow just before an election period so it's nothing I haven't seen before.
